Late 19th C. to early 20th C. Louis XVI dining table. Constructed of mahogany and walnut, the table originally had a parquet top. It has been refinished in a rich satin ebony. Well constructed with original leaves and wood extension system. May be an unmarked Maison Jansen as many were not labeled during this period. Understated hardware: Bronze rosettes at corners, quality brass rings at top of fluted legs. Brass feet.
Table measures about 106 inches in length with both 19-inch leaves in place. Without leaves, about 68 inches in length.
