Description
A stunning statement piece, this pedestal dining table is attributed to Osvaldo Borsani and manufactured by By Fossati, Attilio & Arturo. It is a great example of 1950’s Italian design.
Its mahogany base is characterized by a unique shape and is finished with brass capped feet and a black back painted glass top. The top rests on top of the base with two dowels to hold in place, but otherwise is not attached.
It’s in very good condition, with some minor signs of wear on its wooden surfaces and some slight scratches on the glass top, consistent with age and gentle use.
